Who is lucky lannon?
From the early years of his childhood it seemed Adam was always destined to be around cameras - from picking up second hand 35mm film cameras at car boot sales, to playing with the latest video cameras that his Dad brought home from work in the early 80’s… Seeing the world through a viewfinder felt like home. It still does.
“Get in, get the shot, get out.”
As opposed to working with large studio set ups, Adam prefers to work with natural light sources; using impromptu set ups and utilising whatever the scenario and location has to offer. This might range from behind the scenes photography, to a spur of the moment shoot on a busy street corner, to red carpet celebrations and interactions between artists.
“Spontaneity, creativity and connection to the subject is key to what I do”.
Adam’s style seeks authenticity, embraces the rawness of human emotion and leans towards capturing genuine behaviours. His philosophy stems from the belief that real beauty lies in imperfection.
“It is in our unguarded moments that our most compelling stories are told”.
